Connections Education Hour – A variety of Sunday morning classes, offered from 9:15-10:15 AM during the school year.
The Feast – Wednesday evening programming where adults can share a meal, fellowship, and a thought-provoking group class. Sessions are typically offered in Fall, Winter and Spring.
Ignite Discipleship Groups – Small group discipleship groups that are open to all, regardless of where you may be in your own personal spiritual journey.
Care Partners – Contacts shut-ins, those with illnesses, and those in nursing homes/assisted care facilities.
Prayer Ministries – Prayer Team, Prayer Chain, Pastors’ Prayer Partners, various prayer groups that meet throughout the week.
Celebrate Recovery – A Christ-Centered, 12-Step Recovery Program. My grace is enough for you. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). Discover God’s healing power through the 12 Steps and 8 Recovery Principles. A recovery program for adults dealing with hurts, hang-ups, and habits. Provides worship, fellowship, and group discussions. Deals with difficulties associated with addiction, co-dependency issues, eating disorders and other issues. Celebrate Recovery meets Thursdays at 5:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Men’s/women’s small groups and Step Studies are available as well. Contact Vicki Sams at 273-2345 for more information on ALC’s Celebrate Recovery ministry.
Young at Heart – Ministry for seniors. Monthly meetings are held in the Fellowship Hall from 12:00—1:30 PM, typically on the fourth Tuesday of each month (except during the summer and in December). A hot, homemade meal is served for only $4 per person, followed by a program and plenty of fellowship time. No age limit for Young at Heart, up or down — all are invited.
R & R (Retired & Resourceful) Men’s Ministry – Tuesdays beginning at 8:00 AM. Devotions, coffee & donuts, fellowship, and various work projects around the church.
Various Men’s Bible Studies
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) – 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month (September – May).
Women of Wisdom (WOW) – 8-week sessions held 3 times a year include fellowship and Bible study.
Circles – Several small groups that meet the second week of each month for Bible study.
Katharina Von Bora Quilters – Meets Tuesday mornings to make quilts for charitable organizations.
Charity Knitting & Crochet Group – Meets monthly.
